Birds.com Newsletter Launched

Birds.com Becomes First Company Site to Offer Member Newsletters

Seattle, WA - NewMedia Holdings, Inc. ("NMHCO") announced that beginning today, it will begin sending a monthly newsletter to its members on Birds.com. Each newsletter will be send to each registered member of birds.com and will contain capsules of weekly articles that are written for the sites. Beginning this month, similar newletters will be created and sent to members of other sites. The launch of the Newsletter feature will continue throughout the NMHCO network throughout the rest of Q3 2007.

Seattle, WA - In response to a number of recent and unsolicited inquiries, NewMedia Holdings, Inc. ("NMHCO") has commenced exploratory discussions with various unrelated parties about strategic alliances, joint ventures or possible acquisitions of one or more of the NMHCO properties. The Company remains open to these and future discussions and will evaluate the merits of each inquiry on a confidential and case-by-case basis. Management has not set a timetable for completing such discussions but anticipates that dialogues will be ongoing for the forseeable future. Meanwhile, NMHCO will continue executing on its current business plans and commercial objectives.
